Meet the Author

Deborah Ann Sanders Lacy

was born in Fort Sumpter, SC, but calls Wilmington, Delaware her hometown. She developed a love for poetry while attending Lincoln University in PA, where she received a BA in Sociology.   She also holds a Master’s in Social Work

Deborah worked in the school system in both the public and private sectors and recently retired from the Department of Child Protective Services. God is her inspiration, and she is thankful to God for giving her an outlet to express her heart.  Her goal is to bless the lives of others in poetry and songs, as the Lord speaks.

Deborah lives on the MS Gulf Coast. God has blessed her with two amazing sons, a beautiful daughter in love, and two wonderful granddaughters.
